Main Page > What to Expect on a Sunday Morning

Visiting a church for the first time can be a bit intimidating.  We hope this information will help ease the anxiety about visiting Hope Church.

What time are your worship services?
We have two worship services: 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  Both services are identical and include a time of worship through upbeat songs and hymns, prayer, announcements and a message from the pastor.  Each service lasts just over an hour.  We also have a Spanish worship service that meets each Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m.

Where is Hope Church located?
Hope Church is located on the northeast corner of Cedar Avenue and 145th Street in Apple Valley [map].

Which door do I enter?
We have one main church entrance which faces Cedar Avenue.

What should I wear?
Attire is anything from jeans to dressy.  The feel is casual.

Will I know where to go when I enter the church?
As you enter the building, you’ll be greeted right away by our friendly greeters.  They can answer any questions you might have regarding our church, the services, nursery care, etc.

Are there programs for kids on Sunday morning?
Yes.  Before the service begins, kids under age 2 can be dropped off in the nursery and children ages 2 & 3 can be brought to Toddler Church.  Children ages 4 through 5th grade will join us in the worship service for the singing and then will be dismissed to Hope Kids Express before the message.  If you have young children, be sure to ask the greeters for assistance.

Do I need to bring anything?
We encourage people to bring a Bible to church so they can follow along with the pastor as he preaches.  We’re happy to provide complimentary coffee.

Anything else I should know?
We’re expecting you!  We put a great deal of time and preparation into making Sunday mornings meaningful for our members and guests.  We look forward to meeting you!
