Mark Opseth, Senior Pastor

After serving as Interim Pastor for 15 months, Mark was called to the Senior Pastor position of Hope Church in January 2008.  Mark began full-time ministry in 1986 as a youth pastor in Albert Lea, MN.  Since then, he has served in a variety of roles (Associate Pastor, Executive Pastor, Camp Director, trainer, and consultant) and in a variety of settings (established churches, church plants, camps, parachurch ministries, and training organizations).  Mark's desire is to help prepare God's people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up (Ephesians 4:12).  He also supports and encourages other pastors through a ministry he founded in 2006: Ministry Outfitters.

Mark has been married to Michelle since 1996.  God has blessed them with five children (Joshua, Zachary, Micah, Jonathan and Anna), with another one due to arrive in August of 2008.
