Which door do I enter?
We have one main church entrance which faces Cedar Avenue.

Will I know where to go when I enter the church?
As you enter the building, you’ll be greeted right away by our friendly greeters.  They can answer any questions you might have regarding our church, the services, nursery care, etc.

Are there programs for kids on Sunday morning?
Yes.  At 9:00 a.m. we have programs available for children of all ages (Nursery, Toddler church, Sunday School) as well as youth and adult Bible Studies.

During the worship service at 10:30 a.m. we offer Nursery and Toddler Church for kids ages 3 and under.

Kids and Worship
When kids turn four, they join their parents in the church service on Sunday mornings because we believe families ought to worship together!  We realize kids may not understand everything from the message, but we believe God is planting seeds in these young hearts, seeds that will one day take root, yielding the fruit of repentance that leads to salvation in Christ Jesus!

What style of music is played?
Our music is contemporary - guitars and drums.  Most of our songs are praise choruses with hymns sprinkled in.

Can you tell me about communion?
We celebrate the Lord's Supper the first Sunday of each month.  All followers of Jesus Christ are welcome to participate whether you are a member or not. Usually communion is served to the congregation in their chairs.

Can my children participate in communion?
Communion is for those who have put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Ultimately we encourage the parents to discern when their child is ready to receive communion, but as a general guideline, children can begin to receive communion after they have been baptized as a believer.

Do I need to bring anything?
We encourage people to bring a Bible to church so they can follow along with the pastor as he preaches.

What can you tell me about Apple Valley?
Apple Valley is a family-friendly and vibrant southern suburb of the Twin Cities.  In July 2010, CNNMoney.com ranked Apple Valley #20 in their list of best places to live.  Just minutes away from the Mall of America, Apple Valley is home to the Minnesota Zoo, Apple Valley Water Park, and over 45 other parks spread out over 790 acres of land.

Anything else I should know?
Our primary purpose in gathering each Sunday as a body of believers is to glorify our Lord!  When we sing hymns and choruses with grateful hearts, we glorify the Lord; when we turn away from sin and turn to the Savior, we glorify the Lord; when we give tithes and offerings cheerfully, we glorify the Lord; when we encourage and build up others in the church, we glorify the Lord; when we receive the Word of God into our lives and put it into practice, we glorify the Lord.

Come, let us glorify the Lord together!
