Alfonso Hernandez serves as the Director of the Hispanic Ministry of Hope Church. He and his wife, Brenda, have been married for eight years with two children, Emily and Esteban. During the first two years of marriage they worked in the children's ministry of the First Baptist Church of Pasadena TX, and also in youth ministry for another year, until Alfonso was hired in Kansas. During those two years they were fully active in supporting a Hispanic mission.  

Alfonso’s company transferred them to Minnesota and they began looking for a church to get involved in and to work with.  Hope church opened their doors to start a Hispanic ministry and Alfonso and Brenda, along with a team of committed leaders, began to organize this new ministry.  Since then, Alfonso has taken on the repsponsibility to oversee this ministry, using his God-given gifts of discipleship, evangelism and administration.

Alfonso and Brenda feel this ministry is God’s calling to build a family to reach all Hispanic people around Apple Valley for Jesus.

Gabriel (Gabby) Gutierrez serves as the Associate Director of the Hispanic Ministries.  Gabby is using his gifts in music as well as his passion for evangelism and discipleship to build up our ministry to the Latino community.  We are blessed to have Gabby serve with us!
